THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATE THEIR HAVE BEEN MANY FORM OF DISCRIMINATION. DISCRIMINATION CAN BE TRACE BACK IN THE TIMES OF SLAVERY.IN THE WORKPLACE A NEW TYPE OF DISCRIMINATION CAME ABOUT, DISCRIMINATION OF ONE GENDER, RELIGION,RACIAL ETHNICITY, AND SEXUAL ORIENTION. THIS FORM OF DISCRIMINATION IS A BIG PROBLEM IN 21 CENTURY.
THROUHOUT HISTORY THEIR HAVE BEEN MANY DISCRIMINATION TOWARDS OBESE PEOPLE, AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITY.DISABILITY DISCRIMINATION CAN TAKE MANY DIFFERENT FORM. IT CAN CONSIST OF COMMENTS ABOUT THE DISABILITY.THIS COMMENT CAN BE HURTFUL TO ANY ONE WITH A DISABILITY.THIS FORM OF DISCRIMINATION IS PRACTICE IN MANY CAMPANIES AROUND THE NATION.IN CONGRESS THEY HAVE BEEN MANY BILLS PASS TO FIGHT DISABILITY DISCRIMINATION.EMPLOYERS DO NOT HAVE ANY RIGHT TO REFUSE TO HIRED SOMEONE WITH PHYSICAL DISABILITY OR TO DEMOTE SOMEONE BECAUSE OF DISABILITY.
PEOPLE WITH A DISABILITY IS CONSIDERED INFERIOR TO THEY WORK PEERS.THIS MISCONCEPTION COULD LED TO PASSING OF PROMOTION, GETTING RAISES, AND COULD LED TO PSYCHOLOGICAL PROBLEMS,MAKING THEM THINK IF THEY IS NOT PROPER QUALIFY FOR THE JOB.THIS PREJUDICE PEOPLE WITH DISABILITY FACE EVERYDAY IS DIFFICULTY, SUCH ORGANIZATION AS DISABILITY COUNSIL WHO LOOK OUT FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITY AND TAKE THERE COMPLAINTS.

ONE OF THE BIGGEST TYPE OF DISCRIMINATION WE FACE IN THE 21ST CENTURY, IS RACIAL DISCRIMINATION IN THE WORKPLACE. MANY PEOPLE OF BLACK , LATINO OR ANY PERSON WITH A ETHNIC BACKGROUND.THIS PRACTICE HAVE BEEN GOING ON IN THE UNITED STATE FOR MANY DECADE.BEING BLACK PEOPLE SEE YOU AS INFERIOR ,AND NOT QUALIFY TO HANDLED THE JOB.MANY CIVIAL RIGHT LEADS SUCH AS MARTIN LUTHER KING JR FOUGHT TO STOP THE PRACTICE OF DISCRIMINATION AGIANST MINORITY IN THE WORKPLACE.
IN THE BEGINNING OF THE 20 CENTURY PEOPLE OF COLOR WAS NOT HIRED TO DO OFFICE WORK IN ANY BIG COMPANIES,WITH THE HIGH RACIAL TENSION BETWEEN BLACK AND WHITE , BLACK WAS OFTEN BANNED FROM ENTERING WHITE OWN BUSINESS AND BUILDING,THIS MAKE IT EXTREME DIFFICULT FOR BLACK TO RECEIVE JOBS.THIS PROCEDURE MAKE IT VERY HAD FOR BLACKS THAT WAS WORKING IN WHITE DOMINATED COMPANIES. THEY OFTEN FACE VICIOUS COMMENTS FROM THEY CO-WORKERS,HARASSMENT,CALLED IMPROPER NAMES.THIS FORM OF DISCRIMINATION HAVE BEEN AROUND FOR MANY GENERATION.
IN THIS NEW CENTURY WE STILL SEE DIFFERENT FORM OF RACIAL DISCRIMINATION IN THE WORKPLACE,SUCH PROBLEMS AS PROMOTION, AND HIRING OF BLACK PEOPLE ,IS STILL A HOT ISSUE THAT IS FACING THE MINORITY COMMUNITY TODAY.
SEXUAL ORIENTION IS OTHER CONTROVERSIAL ISSUE IN THE WORKPLACE , MANY PEOPLE WHO HAPPEN TO BE HOMOSEXUAL OR LESBIAN FACE A VARIETY OF DISCRIMINATION,OFTEN BEING FROM THEY EMPLOYER WHO WOULD FIRED THEIR WORKER IF THEY FIND OUT IF THE WORKER IS GAY OR LESBIAN.STEREOTYPE LIKE THIS COULD RUIN THE REPUTATION OF THAT WORKER,WHO WOULD THEN FACE CRITICISM FROM HE/SHE CO-WORKERS.GAY AND LESBIAN FACE EXTREME PRESSURE FROM EVERYBODY SURROUND THEM CRITICIZE THERE SEXUAL ORIENTION.
WOMEN IN THE WORKPLACE OFTEN FACE MANY TYPE OF DISCRIMINATION,RANGING FROM SEXUAL FAVORS,SEXISM,AND PROMOTION.WOMEN AND MEN OFTEN WORK THE SAME HOUR BUT THEY PAID DIFFERENTLY FROM THE MEN.WOMAN BEEN FIGHTING FOR THE RIGHT TO WORK ON A EQUAL LEVEL AS THEY COUNTERPART.FOR MANY YEARS WOMAN RIGHT GROUPS FIGHT FOR EQUAL OPPORTUNITY IN THE WORK PLACE.THE WOMAN SUFFRAGE WAS ONE OF THE ORGANIZATION THAT FIGHT OF WOMAN AND THEY RIGHT FOR EQUAL PLACE IN THE WORK MARKET.
RELIGION IS A BIG FACTOR IN THE BATTLE AGIANST OFFICE DISCRIMINATION,PEOPLE WHO BEING DISCRIMINATED BECAUSE OF THERE RELIGIOUS BACKGROUND.RELIGION SHOULD NOT BE A FACTOR IN THE PROCESS OF HIRING OR PROMOTING SOMEONE AT THERE JOB. RELIGION DISCRIMINATION AT THE WORKPLACE IS VERY UNETHICAL AND MORALLY WRONG, BUT THAT STILL DO TO NOT STOP THE COMPANIES FROM PRACTICING THIS TYPE OF DISCRIMINATION.
AS WE LOOK BACK ON HISTORY WE LEARN THAT DISCRIMINATION PLAYED A MAJOR PART OF THE SHAPING OF THE UNITED STATE.SEGREGATION,RACIAL PROFILING,AND THE PRACTICING OF WORKPLACE DISCRIMINATION,ALL OF THIS IS A PART OF THE DARK HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATE.DISCRIMINATION OF ANY KIND IS WRONG AN UNETHICAL.AS A YOUNG PERSON SOON TO ENTER THE JOB I WONDER IF I WOULD BE DISCRIMINATED AGAINST FOR MY RACIAL MAKEUP OR BE DEMOTED FOR MY LOOK , THIS IS QUESTION PEOPLE OF DIFFERENT RACES AS THEMSELVES,EVERY TIME THEY GO FOR JOB.
